Seeking a Latvian manufacturer of plastic products for PC screen calendar holders
I invented a product in August 2021 (needed something to do in the summer holiday. ) and own a design patent for it in the European Union. It is a useful calendar holder that in a pair can be mounted on top of monitors for holding monthly calendars for writing notes on to remember things. In one of the photos you can see the first version I made in cartboard just to test out the idea. I soon after went to a hardware store in Oslo, looked around for an hour or two and considered different materials to make one in and found an aluminium material I cut, made a split in with an angle grinder and then bent it to give it a foot that could be taped to a monitor with two sided tape. I then used a construction file on them, sandpaper and painted them with a silver paint. I made two units that almost looked the same, tested them out and soon realized that it was a useful product. I later found a company I paid for making a production drawing of the product and filed a design application in Norway that was forwarded to the Europea Union. I considered getting some prototypes made in aluminium but after feedbacks I soon decided to order some samples in polyamide mixed with a little aluminium (I was advised to add some aluminium to make the polyamide stronger). Making the product in plastic may be the best alternative when producing many but it may also be made in metals (for example in a metal giving it a shining copper, gold or silver color). Made in a plastic it will be a cheap useful office/consumer product that may be sold in different kind of shops. For example in electronic shops selling PC monitors, in bookstores selling calendars and in stores selling office equipment to individuals and businesses. Because of special challenges I have had in Norway I left Norway this summer and now live in Latvia.
I moved to Latvia as a consequence of data crimes someone committed against me while working on a valuable sports project prior to and after the terrible crimes committed in Norway on 22nd July 2011.
The datacrimes also affected people in my family and other people in a way and gave me an idea to make “friend cards” in a business card size for my nephews and nieses to help them communicate important values to their friends if needed. These are values people in my family and many other people consciously or unconsciously have lived by for a long time. There was not “room” for all the text I worked out and later got the idea to make a selfadhesive label or sticker I called "Valuemark" with more text also to communicate important values for all. Working out texts was a process that went for some weeks/months while I worked on other projects.
Based on my experiences since 2011 I believe there is a need and made the valuemark on the basis of that. I recently in Latvia made 14 days calendar's with texts from the valuemark to take notes on to be used/sold with the calendar holders. Montly calendars on top of the PC is a good place for getting reminders. I believe using the valuemark texts in this way is a good idea. I have registered this work in one or more copyright databases.
I like feedback on these thoughts from businesses/manufactur ers:
-Your Latvian business/manufacturer will get an exclusive right to make and sell a product based on this design in the European Union. The business must be owned by Latvians.
-From the feedback I have got so far I think it is cheapest to make the product in a plastic. If your business wants to test out the product you can order it in small quantities at a high price (3d print) by contacting me: 20 pieces for 140 Euros and 50 pcs for 250 Euros.
-Two pieces of two-sided tape must be cut and sold with the holders.
-Text may be engraved on the holders or written on stickers on the holders on were to download monthly calendars. It can also be considered to sell the calendar holders in a package of two with printed monthly calendars and two pieces of two-sided tape.
-Different versions of Monthly calendars with different texts/design can be made.
-After signing an agreement the business/manufacturer will pay me an amount once a year or twice a year 10% of the sales price per product sold. The business/manufacturer can also offer a payment to me when signing an agreement (for example with regard to costs I had with making the product and with design applications).
-If your business/manufacturer has entered agreements about using other peoples/businesses designs before you can share information about terms you normally use. I haven't done this before.
There is a problem in our days with an excisting PC technology that is inhumane, disrespectful, irresponsible, borderless and ruthless that people should not have an access to.
This makes it possible for some people to connect to other peoples Pcs without their awareance and without their acceptance to it even when a Pcs has no normal wireless network card. Naturally I am looking for a business/manufacturer not doing that. If a business I enter an agreement with also can stop people from doing that (and from “spying” in other ways) that will be very helpful. It is very difficult to work creatively on a PC when that is going on because people connecting to other peoples Pcs in this way can have conflicting interests. I recently moved from Norway to Latvia for this reason and it is still a problem.
I naturally seek a business/manufacturer that would like to do the things I'm not good at and happy with not doing. If interested I prefer that you write me a letter and post it to Christian M. Borge, Liepu iela 29, LV-3401 Liepaja to keep our communication away from the internet. You can also send me an message or an sms if you want.
