We are looking for an experienced Intermodal Transport Planner / Dispatcher who understands European transport operations, takes ownership and can make sensible decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Your responsibilities
-Plan incoming transport units and organise their onward movement
-Coordinate first- and last-mile deliveries
-Search for backloads and minimise empty kilometres
-Arrange and confirm customer loads
-Book ferry and rail connections
-Prepare and process transport documentation
-Maintain accurate operational data in our TMS and Excel/Google Sheets
-Communicate with customers, drivers, carriers, terminals and other partners
-Resolve operational issues and keep shipments moving according to plan
What we expect
-Previous experience in transport planning, dispatching or intermodal logistics
-Proficiency in English is mandatory
-Knowledge of one or more additional languages is an advantage: Russian, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian or Swedish
-Strong communication and coordination skills
-A responsible and dependable approach to work
-Practical thinking and sound judgement
-Accuracy when working with documents and operational data
