About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Property Manager / Receptionist to take ownership of day-to-day operations across several hospitality properties in central Riga. You will ensure that rooms are always guest-ready, the properties look tidy and representative, and guests receive quick, friendly support when needed (even though check-in is mostly self-service). This is a practical, on-site role combining operational coordination, quality control, and guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all rooms and common areas are consistently clean, prepared, and guest-ready.
Coordinate and supervise cleaning operations: recruit and onboard cleaners, build schedules, communicate standards, check quality, and ensure issues are corrected immediately.
Organize and coordinate minor maintenance and repairs (small fixes yourself when appropriate; otherwise manage service providers, quotes, timing, and follow-up).
Manage inventories and purchasing: prepare monthly supplies and service provider lists (incl. budget estimates), order supplies, keep stock levels under control.
Manage listings and performance on Booking. com and other agreed platforms: Create/update listings and information, coordinate photoshoots, keep calendars accurate; Respond to inquiries/messages, handle reviews.
Manage room allocation and occupancy planning: assign rooms to guests and ensure correct setup based on booking details.
Prepare and send self check-in information: create clear arrival instructions (access, entry, house rules, Wi-Fi, etc. ), send them to guests in advance.
Support guests on-site and remotely: help with check-in when needed, answer questions, handle complaints, and solve unexpected situations quickly and calmly.
Be the first point of contact for urgent guest/property issues outside standard hours (including evenings/nights) and coordinate immediate solutions when required.
Act as the key on-site contact for external stakeholders: communicate and coordinate with utilities and building services, maintenance and other service providers, neighbors to resolve operational matters smoothly.
Prepare house rules, monitor compliance and overall order in the property; act when problems arise to protect the guest experience and the property.
Maintain complete and well-organized documentation: properly document and store all operational and financial records (contracts, invoices, receipts, supplier records), track expenses, keep maintenance/cleaning logs, and report key updates to the team.
Take on other reasonable operational tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, reception, property operations, or a similar customer-facing operational role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Practical, proactive problem-solver with a “see it → fix it” mindset.
Good communication skills and a guest-first attitude; calm under pressure.
Very good English, Latvian and Russian; additional languages are a plus.
Flexibility to work on weekends/holidays.
Confident with basic tools and platforms (e. g. , Booking. com, messaging, spreadsheets/docs).

SALARY
1800 EUR/month (gross) + bonus based on the results.
