It’s official: There will be no COLA in 2010, even though costs of living have been going up for most seniors. Should the government pay Social Security recipients a $250 COLA replacement, and if so, how should they pay for it?

    i think if social securty gets a check ssi should get one also it would not be fair to them not to get one also

    To be fair to our Seniors they need the check for $250.00 and at least 2% increase in COLA to cover food bills,gasoline,and rising medical costs.Many Seniors fought in Vet Nam for their country.Many Seniors depend on their SS checks to live.If the gvernment can find money for other countries and two wars they need to take care of their elderly now.Its the right thing to do.

    I agree, that SSI persons should also get a check. it is very hard on them ,also they recive less on their checks then alot of people.
